Community Pool

The Community Pool is opened yearly from Memorial Day through Labor Day. A pool pass is required for each member of your household over 2 years old. Be advised that certain age groups require a parent or guardian be with them at all times (e.g., not just dropped off). Download the Pool Pass Application form (above), and complete, sign and mail it to:

St. Jones Commons Home Owners Association

Dover, DE 19901

You can also send us a scan electronically to BOD@StJonesCommons.Com

Pool passes are renewed and issued annually. Replacement pool passes (lost, misplaced, or damaged) can be replaced for a $10.00 fee (for material and labor). A copy of the pool rules can be found above, and is also attached to the fence near the entry gate.

The pool use is "SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK", which means there are no lifeguards. However, pool access and conduct is monitored by pool attendants (PAs) who ensure that:

  • Only authorized users and their guest(s) gain admittance and are logged-in
  • Chlorine and PH levels are monitored/logged
  • Rules are enforced
  • The pool is closed due to inclement weather or other safety concerns (i.e., unsafe chlorine/PH levels)

Remember, PAs are only doing what they have been instructed to do. If you have any suggestions or complaints, please contact a board member.

Tenants (aka renters) can access the pool only if:

  1. The owner has sent in a completed a Delegation of User form (above), and
  2. The tenant has been issued a pool pass
